Question: I really want to put in an invisible fence, but am afraid that my dog is really too old to learn new tricks. Is it easy for the dog to get used to?

Answer: I can't really answer your question right now, but by tomorrow night I can let you know. I'm installing one and my dog is 13 and has been a fence climber her entire life. Wish me luck!

Answer: We successfully trained a 9 yr old and a 15 yr old (lab mixes) on Invisible Fencing. Absolutely recommend it. We later trained a Papillon Puppy on it also with no problems.

Answer: It's very easy to train your dog if you are patient and give them praise. Use the flags outlining the yard and walk your dog daily. Follow the instructions and let him/her walk into the line a couple times to indicate it's related to the flaged outline. We trained our very spirited, hunting dog on a six acre parcel in Pennsylvania and she never left the invisible fence once! Good luck...
