A/C Not Working

Question: A/C unit is 5 years old. The fan works but the a/c unit doesn't. Anything basic I should check for?

Answer: You don't say whether this is a window unit or a central air system but the answer is the same:...You need an AC professional to recharge the unit....or in the case of a window unit, simply get a new one it will likley be cheaper.

Answer: It is a central air system. I had it checked out by a friend and he said I need to replace a fuse. I'll try that.
