Bryant Model 100-393 Furnace Solinoid

Name: Leo  City: Brownstown, MI.

Question: I have a Older Bryant Furnace that has a manual operator (which I think is a solinoid)after the gas valve which you can reset on the top by moving the tab to manual operation. Every month or so the furnace does not fire until I switch the reset. The pilot is always on, however the burner does not fire. Is there a problem with the controller or can it be something else?
