Question: electric dryer does not get hot, just blows cold air

Answer: check house fuse panel, make sure BOTH fuses are good. one fuse for motor, 2 fuses for heat. Or shut off breaker and turn back on. Not knowing what KIND of dryer makes diagnosis IMPOSSIBLE. Could be t-stat(s), timer, thermal fuse(s), element(s), motor switch, broken wire.
