Title of Question:

Coleman Furnace Won'T Shut-Off

Name: Robin M. Smith  City:

Question: I have talked to 2 different repairmen and received different advise so I have done both, and it hasn't worked. The furnace will run then it will shut off, then back on it does this 5 or six times before it will completely go off for the next cycle. I have replaced the aux switch, the upper and lower limit switches one of which was on the blower. I have also replaced the thermostat. If you know how to make this stop please let me know.

Answer: if it going off on the limits, you may have restricted air flow somewhere. dirty filty, clogged a-coil, too many registers, dampers closed or furniture blocking air flow.
