Title of Question:

Furnace Fan Only Runs

Name: Rich  City:

Question: My gas furnace sometimes won't light. The blower will blow, but no fire below. If I turn off the main switch and turn it back on, then everything works fine. It has a glow plug and that has been replaced, it's just like it won't ignite.

Answer: There should be a flame sensor that "sits" in one of the jets for the furnance. Chances are it may be in need of cleaning. If that's been done, are you getting spark? It should be audible. If not, perhaps the cable to your plug has gone bad.
