Question: I have a Kenmore Coldspot Frostless 22. Model #106.9512851 made in 1992. Wake up one morning with water on the floor. It was coming from the ice maker. Turned off water supply and flow stopped. Restarted after several hours, and the ice maker made a few sets of cubes, and then the water started to flow again from the ice maker.

Answer: I have the same problem, have you figured it out yet. The water in mine will actually create a sheet of ice in the bottom of the freezer clogging the drain and not allowing the the defrost moisture to drain.

Answer: I have the same predicament. I'm diagnosing my Kenmore Coldspot 106 now to find out why the icemaker is making ice at an extremely slow pace as well. Last year, I fixed the problem of why the water dispenser was dispensing water at a very slow pace and eventually stopping. I fixed it by cleaning and realigning the water valve. Perhaps the valve is the cause of my ice as well.

Answer: I had same problem that the water dispenser stop functioning,, and ice maker running slow. I saw one possible solution is related to the water valve. Can someone explain where is the water valve, and what am I suppose to do with it? Thanks,

Answer: I have just the opposite problem. My ice maker works fine, front door water dispenser works fine, but there is no water getting into the icemaker. It will make ice, and put it in the hopper if I put water in the tray manually. No leaks (yet) just quit putting water in the tray?
