Pilot Light Will Not Stay On When Re-Lighting.

Question: The pilot light went out and when trying to relight it, it will not stay on after the minute hold-on. I have repeated this numerous times. This happened once before and the guy did one little trick, but I can't remember what that one little trick was! Help! I'm freezing! It's 12 degrees and have a baby.
