Question: how can I find an experience contractor to convert my "townhouse" roof Truss system, in order to gain living space in my attic.

Answer: You can't...By code trusses cannot be altered, notched, bored, or cut....Only thing you can do initailly is to consult your local building code office by presenting them with an engineer/architect's plan for alteration....The contractor cannot perform for you what you desire at this stage....It is beyond his capabilities.
