Question: Hi, I have hayward vacuum and it stopped moving, I have checked the hoses they are fine, I took it to a shop they said it is fine it must be in my pool system. I feel suction and the feet move when lifted from the bottom of pool by do not move once it sits on the bottom. I have tried just opening vacuum line (I have a separate line not run thru skimmer basket) and closed skimmer line and vice versa. I did notice my gage showed no pressure, I tried taking filter out and run it that way - nothing. Any suggests would be appreciated. Thanks so much and happy to survive Frances down here in South Florida and pray for everyone having problems. Thanks again, Janet(my problem seems so trival compared to others right now but a lot of dirt and leaves from Frances)

Answer: give pool a good back wash with pool cleaner removed, if this does not help then make sure you are not sucking in air at the motor (basketweir) or the inlet to the basket weir to the motor
