Answer: None that I am aware of. I have the same problem and thought I might find an answer here. Instead I find only a way to submit a solution. Go figure...

Answer: P.S. I have fabricated a door from dense styroform carved from a packing insert.Carefully cut from an area that is about 1 inch thick. I used a hacksaw blade to cut the plastic to a rough size slightly larger than the width of the skimmer opening and 75 percent of the opening heigth.True up the rough cuts with a sanding block. While sanding the width, periodically check the fit. it needs to ber close, but must have enough clearance to facillitate free opening movement. Sand a slot along the lower edge of the door with the corner to help hold the hinge tube in place. The hinge pin was made from discarded (nylon?) icemaker tubing... make a square cut 1 quater inch longer than the width if the skimmer opening using a utillity knife (be careful). relax the curve in the tubing by placing it in boiling water for a few minutes. Drain the water and remove the tube (be careful). Hold the tube straight until it cools. It will still have a slight curve in it, but i do not know how to remove it. I found the slot in the lower edge of the door was enough to keep the tube straight enough. Test tube length by inserting into the holes in the side of the skimmer. With the tube held straight you should be able to move the tube a small distance from side to side, but not enought to allow the tube to come out of either hole. The tubes flexibility allows the tube to be installed in the skimmer. Taper the thicknes of the lower edge of the door so that it is almost tangent to the tube when it is in the slot. Use sealing tape to attach the tube to the door edge. The tape shoud be applied starting at the top edge of the door and about half an inche from the vertical side. It goes down the side and over the tube which has been centered on the width of the door. Then the tape continues up the other side and over to the first side so that it overlaps itself. I went around two time on both sides of the door to insure that the tape could not come off (loose sealing tape in ur skimmer basket could easily clog it). The door should be ready to install in the skimmer now. Make sure the tapered side of the door is on the inside of the skimmer.Snap the door into place by inserting one end of the hinge tube into the corresponding hole in the skimmer. Align the other end of the tube with the opposite hole and gently flex the tube just enough to snap into place. Check for non binding movement and adjust by saning if needed. the door can be removed as easily as it was installed. My door has worked one complete season without a problem, but I checked it daily to be certain that the tape was not loosening. I will reapply new tape at the start of the swimming season.

Answer: P.P.S. ... or.... if you have the original door but the hinge pins are simply broken off, attach the fabricated tubing described above to creat new hinge pin. Just attach it to the lower edge of the original door.
