Faint Iron Stain On Carpet

Question: After dropping the iron momentarily onto the lounge carpet I now have faint iron mark showing. Is there anything I can do to make it look ok and avoid going through insurance

Answer: I have the same problem? Any answers?? Please help-the carpet is new and I hate to have any marks on it!
