Insulation

Question: I recently built a 26' by 26' attached garage with a bonus room above approx. 26' by 14' by 8' in hight. The room has no heat ind I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I would like to build a 5' by 8' pantry. My question is how can do I insulate this room to avoid high summer heat and freezing winter cold. The garage below also has no heat, there is an insulated fire seperation between the garage and bonus`room. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. thanks, emilio
