Jacuzzi Bath Tub Question

Question: I have recently purchased a house with a jacuzzi bathtub. I usually take a bath about twice a week. Sometimes, the water will come out with a brown tint from the tub faucet. I do not use the jets because I am pregnant, and they are a little uncomfortable. Anyway, I was wondering if there is some sort of maintenence that I should be doing that I am not that may cause the brown tinted water? Are there filters...or some sort of chemicals I should be using that I am unaware of? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks
