Front Load Washer Stops Running Then Resumes Later

Question: I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer that has begun to cut off during the wash cycle. There is a humming noise in the area of the door latch. If you pull the timer knob out and leave it a while it will start back up and run again for a few minutes and then the senario starts all over again. After repeated restarts you finish you load of clothes. This activity stopped for about a month and washer performed wonderfully.....now it has started malfunctioning again. Any help out there?
