Garage Door Opener ???

Question: we took a lightning strike and now our craftsman 1/2 hp opener is flashing green lights in series of five blinks and it takes three tries to get the door to open..any idea of how to reset it??

Answer: Same thing happened to me a few years back and I ended up having to replace the circuit board. I think it was about $20 and wasn't hard to put in. After that I bought an appliance surge protector for the opener and haven't had a problem since. Hopes this helps.
