Question: andersen windows about 12 yrs old wooden, cant get the sash out

Answer: Your description needs to be a bit more detailed ! Assuming these windows are single hung, and its the lower sash that you want out you may need to remove the trim on the left or right of the sash. Some windows have spring loaded tracks which allow the sash to come out when the sash is pushed to the left ot right. Would like to help more, a picture would be nice.
