Question: what kind of aluminum sheets do i use and where do i get them.

Answer: you use aluminum coil stock ( break metal ) and it can be purchased at any building supply house including Home Depot or Lowes. You will need a break machine in order to break into the shapes needed to cover the head, jamb and sill of the existing window. Any other questions, I can be reached at 770-944-2230
