Water Damage

Question: About a year ago I noticed my ceiling have water stains on them, and they are getting bigger.I am sure I need a roof,is there anything I can do to prevent more damage?and can you tell me what can possibly be damaged if not fixxed

Answer: Only way to prevent more damage is to install a new roof or at least cover the roof with a tarp...Leaving the roof unattended can lead to wood rot and mold formation which can easily cost thousands and thousands more than new shingles.
