Window Out Of Guide Hole

Question: I have double hung windows and while tilting top of one in, realized it was out of the guide hole on one side. Am unable to figure out how to get the post back into the guide hole. Neither side pushes in.

Answer: It is common for tilt-down windows to have to be in the fully 90 degree tilt position for the guide to fit back into each hole.
