Kitchen Countertops

Question: My fiance took off my old laminate countertops and put on new ones but, we discovered once we got to home depot that the countertop i wanted did not come in a 8 or 10 right miter cut so he made the cut himself so how do we make the too miter cuts meet in the center of my countertop without the line showing? Help
