Answer: Make a level line going across the wall where you plan to hang the cabinets.If you wish,you can attach a 1x4 to the wall,with the top of the 1x4 on the level line.The bottom of the cabinets will rest on this 1x4 level line while you hang the cabinets.Make sure the cabinets are straight,level.and plumb,then fasten them to the wall.With base cabinets its basically the same thing,but no 1x4.You check to make sure the floor is level,and if it's not, you apply wood shims under the cabinets to level them.Make sure the cabinets are straight,plumb,and level,and then fasten them to the wall.For added strengh,you can also fasten the face frames of the cabinets together with screws.
