Question: my mimosa is split - currently bracing the two parts - is there a glue or cement to put inside the split while working to repair it?

Answer: Nope. See other descriptions of fixing split trees. You need to bind and support until cambium layer near the outside grows together. Prune aggressively before winter to avoid more damage from bad weather.

Answer: My Mimosa tree is only 6 months old. It is leaning really far to one side. I have it tied back with string. Is it too soon to prune the tree back?
