Question: everytime i use my washing machine lately the basement (where the washer is located) and outside by that window is a horrible sewage like smell.could anyone tell me what this means and what needs to be done to fix this problem

Answer: Could be your septic tank needs to be pumped if you have one...Otherwise you may have a cracked sewer line or a clogged air vent...Call a professional plumber.
