How Do I Get Rid Of Sewage Odor From Toilet

Question: I get periodic sewage smell coming out of the toilet, I don't have a septic tank, what's the problem and how can I solve it

Answer: If the wax ring seal has failed, you can get sewer gas escaping up into the room. Lift the toilet and replace the wax seal.

Answer: If the toilet hasn't been used in awhile, the water in the bowl may have evaporated from the trap, allowing sewer gas to escape through the bowl. Check to make sure there is sufficient water in the bowl.
