Shower Faucet Leaking

Question: I have an old Waltec faucet (combined tub filler and taps) which is dripping. I have changed both cartridges but the dripping persists. Once the taps are turned off, I get some dripping and then hear some gurgling and more dripping etc. It stops dripping after about one minute. What is the cause of this dripping, and what can I do about it? I have the same taps in other rental units, and don't have this problem. Thanks.
