Black Stain In Deep End Of The Pool Bottom And Walls

Question: i have tried everything to get this black stain off the deep end of my inground l6 by 32 oval pool it is about 2 inches around the bottom drain and on the side walls here and there, no amount of scrubbing or all type of algae chemicals will take it off could you please advise what to do, we replaced our old liner about three years ago and never had this problem before pool was put in in l989 and is vinyl liner. thank you
