Question: what should the normal pressure be on a JACUZZI SAND FILTER? my sister has a above ground pool that has been out of service for 4 years.. the kids distroyed the liner so i talked her into fixing the pool.. i installed a new liner and replaced all missing parts of the pump and filter. after 3 days i finall got the pool all together. now its time to think of maintenance on it. i am not sure what the pressure should be . i am assuming ( i know scary to assume ) that the sand was clean to start with. curently the pressure reads around 14 to 16 psi. is this a good number? i have never maintained a pool before. also seeing i am here are good numbers on ph and clorine levels .any help on understanding the correct way to maintain the pool would be helpful. thank you for your time
