No Plants Pool Decor?

Question: We have three planting area very near our pool. We removed the real plants because they were dirtying the pool (leaves, etc.) but the "fake" plants have badly faded and we need to do something else. We have considered statuary, ceramic pots, and the like but we have not found anything that will work. Any ideas?
