Remove Pool Water

Question: Leslie's pool supply tested my pool water adn said the chlorine was locked adn I needed to empty a couple of feet of water from my pool and add fresh water. My Blue Haven poool system does not have a backwash feature. Hoew do I drain 2-3 feet of water from my pool?
