Sides Of Aluminum Wall Starting To Rot

Question: I have a few places with small holes about 10 inches from the bottom (mostly in one area of the pool). Right now there don't seem to be causing a problem with the liner. Can this be repaired. I'm assuming I'd have to drain and repair under the liner? Is this a job for a professional?
