Rid Home Of Smoke Smell

Name: Jeri Hankins  City:

Question: We recently had a smell fire in our home when the heat of a candle broke through the glass holder it was in and caught a wall on fire. The charred smell still hangs heavy in the air. What can we do to eliminate that smell?

Answer: Smoke damage/smell is hard to get rid of without a lot of work. You can try the onion cut in half trick, air fresheners. But the real answer is to re-decorate.

Answer: Replace anything that burned (sheetrock, etc.) then get an air-cleaner with an ionizer and put in that room. You may also need to clean the carpet. Call a restoration company
