Cracked Tongue And Groove Sheathing

Question: Home built in 1959 using 3/4 tongue & goove sheathing. One roof had gone over original. This April had a complete tear off, no rot or damage reported. In attic there are 5-6 holes in sheathing from prying off material. Contractor has agreed to repair...but how?
