Getting Local Channels, But Not Getting Satellite Channels

Question: Via the satellite, I can get the local channels (3-55). However I can not get channels 84-214 with my dish. With channels 84 and above I get the message that the receiver is trying to aquire the signal. What could be the problem? I'm guessing the problem is with the eye that is pointing to the dish? Any advice how this problem could be correcte?
