Seemless Or Contoured Foam Backing

Question: I've narrowed my vinyl options down to 2. I could go with 28ft panels with the large sheets of foam insulation and have a completely seemless house or 16ft panels with contoured foam backing (CedarMAX) and have a few seems. Is the countoured foam any better than sheet foam? Also the CedarMax is thicker at .50 and has a double nail hem. What are your opinions on the 2 options?
