How To Caulk Neatly

Question: I cant seem to apply caulk neatly. It always comes out un-even and when I smooth it with my fingers the lines are so un-uniform and lumpy

Answer: Caukling rewuires using masking tape on both sides of the joint you wish to caulk....Place a strip of tape about 1/4" away from each side of the caulk....Run your bead of caulk....Run your finger over the caulk to smooth excess....Then remove the tape for a neat caulk joint.
