Repairing Bumps And Cracks Left From Spackling

Question: I have primed and painted my walls!! I stood a good distance away and noticed that where I filled the joints of the sheetrock with spackle you can see all the bumps and uneven sanding!! What can I do to get rid of the bumps without re-doing my entire paint job?
