Roof Reviver(TM) Roof Cleaning - What to expect from Roof Reviver™ Roof Cleaner If you are using the “Gradual Removal Process” without rinsing, Roof Reviver™ will stop further destruction and granule loss to any type of roof. Depending on the severity of the problem, you may need additional applications. Gradually with rainfall, the roof will return to its original color. Moss, algae, fungus, or any green material will turn brown and rinse away on its own. Applying Roof Reviver(TM) to a new roof will keep stains from ever forming. This is the easiest, most affordable method of protection. If you are using the “Rapid Removal Process” to remove black streaks, the stains will disappear right away. If you have a mild condition, a garden hose may be adequate to get good results. If the problem is severe, a low pressure device like the Rapid Rinser™ is the best tool to use. If badly stained, more than 1 application of the product will be needed. High pressure rinsing is not used to clean shingles. * After applying Roof Reviver™ to green growth such as moss, algae, lichens, fungus, etc, it is best to wait until the growth turns brown before rinsing. (Allow 3 to 5 days) This makes rinsing much easier. To prevent stains from ever coming back, yearly applications (no rinsing needed) are recommended.
