I had a very frustrating and embarrassing mopping session at my house last week. I was unclogging a toilet that was clogged earlier in the day. To start things off on a bad note, I first attempted to flush the toilet. Immediately, the toilet started overflowing...

Now I know, get a bucket and pour water in the toilet bowl to test the clog between plunges. If it is unclogged, it will swirl and drain. If it isn't you won't end up mopping...
