This was an old 1/2 bath on the first floor. It had old school faux stucco paint and an old cabinet sink and toilet, probably from the 1970s.
First thing I did and most challenging was to demo the closet, sink remove the support studs and privacy door and installed a new header.
Then we installed a new hallway door, new electrical outlets and ceiling light, floated and painted the ceiling and walls. Then sprayed orange peel texture and paint.
Then installed a new low-flow toilet courtesy of the City of Austin and a new small pedestal sink. After that, I installed Elfa shelving from the Container Store and a twin bed from IKEA.
Now, when guest come over, they have bed to sleep in and we have pantry storage to store my tools and lawn equipment.
