New Coffered Ceiling

Lots of TRIM! Our goal was to create a coffered ceiling in the master bedroom. The ceiling treatment was completed start to finish by my boyfriend and his father. I think initially, the biggest challenge was that our ceiling was not a perfect square, so figuring out the exact dimensions of the boxes took some thought. The final product (and the fact that neither of these men are in construction or trade,) gave us the biggest sense of accomplishment. Friends and family visit and can't believe this is something we were able to do on our own. It's gorgeous!

That is a beautiful piece of work. Figuring out the square dimensions on a non-square ceiling and putting the extra effort in certainly paid off. And the fact that neither of the guys doing the work were professional contractors is amazing. What a success!
