Still finishing up this project but here are a few views of what we've accomplished so far.
Picture One - Custom built cabinets with hinges and pulls from Rejuvenation. New microwave with vent that leads out the side of the house. You can see the vent running along the adjacent wall at the top, we boxed it in and not only does it look decent, but the vent works great. Microwave also has underside lighting.
Picture Two - New light next to the sink was totally on sale in the seconds room at Rejuvenation store in Portland - total score!! We also added all new track lighting above. Can't see the new sink faucet, but we got it via Lowe's, and the new sink was actually a find at the Rebuilding Center in Portland for $20! We looked at a new Stainless steel sink, but that would have cost us over $100. My boyfriend added the stained glass window which a friend of ours made, and I think it looks great.
Picture Three - The as of yet unfinished portion of our project: still have to put our cabinet fronts back on with the new Rejuvenation hardware - hinges and pulls as shown in picture one. But wanted to show the backs of our cabinets which we painted this awesome purple color as a little surprise. Our lower cabinets are glass front so some of the purple will still show through.
