Paint, Crown Molding, and an Archway

  • Created: Aug 10, 2009 by Judi

The goal was to paint the bland white of the living room, hall, kitchen, and dining room and install new crown molding only in the living room. The challenge was "how/where to stop the crown molding" because I didn't want it to continue into the kitchen/dining room. The contractor (my brother) built an archway between the hallway and the kitchen, which effectively separated the two living spaces and provided a stopping point for the crown molding.

  2. Wow! Love what you've done to the living room, what a huge difference. I especially like the crown molding and the color -- sophisticated.
