Plaster Wall Repair Tool Guide
Got a hole in your wall? Want to paint your walls and need to fill in some cracks so that your wall will appear nice and smooth afterwards? Then you'll need to know how repair those plaster walls of yours!
Tools of the Trade
No matter what kind of hole or crack you are filling, there are some basic tools that you will need to get started:
- Utility knife (box cutter)
- Hammer
- Masonry chisel
- Generic metal bottle opener
- Sandpaper
- Muralo Company's Spackle (for cracks and very small holes)
- Patching plaster to fill holes and cracks
- Finishing plaster to create a matching layer ready for painting
